DRINKING WATER MATTERS
What you drink matters more than you think!
There are several decisions you need to make before selecting a water filter system and which one to purchase. Water EDU was written to help you learn the facts about water and water filtration so that you can make a smart decision.
The Purpose of Water
Your body is over 75 percent water. Obviously, your health and well-being depends on the quantity and quality of the water you drink. Every system in our bodies needs water to work properly.
How much water you need is determined by the size of your body and your level of physical activity. According to Doctors at the Mayo Clinic, a quick rule of thumb for determining how much water to drink each day is to divide your body weight by two – that is the number of ounces of water you should drink each day on average to stay properly hydrated. If you are extremely physically active, you may need to drink more.
